It's best not to drink the first cup of water from the paper cup. First, rinse it with boiling water for four to five minutes, then pour the water out to allow any harmful substances in the paper cup to evaporate. This is because fluorescent powder and ink are highly penetrating and can contaminate food.
Do not heat disposable paper cups or instant noodle boxes in the microwave.
Avoid filling paper cups with hot water. Some manufacturers coat paper cups with a thin layer of wax to prevent water seepage, but this wax will melt when exposed to water above 40 degrees Celsius. Therefore, disposable paper cups are best used for cold drinks, not for hot water above 40 degrees Celsius.
